Welcome to Marriage Mentoring 

At RiverGlen Christian Church, we believe in the beauty and importance of a Christ-centered marriage. We view marriage as a lifelong union/relationship between a man and a woman as husband and wife. We believe that marriages have the ability to thrive when they apply biblical principles and faithfully utilize practical tools. Our Marriage Mentoring program is designed to support couples at any stage of their relationship, offering biblical guidance, wisdom, and encouragement from trained, experienced mentors.

What is Marriage Mentoring? 

Marriage Mentoring is a supportive service with a team of marriage mentors who share their insights and wisdom with other couples who are struggling in their marriage or maybe just need a tune-up. They are trained to use a method of mentoring that is not only biblical, but practical and effective. This ministry is about building stronger, more fulfilling relationships through guided conversations, shared experiences, and compassionate understanding.

Our program is tailored for:

- Couples considering marriage

- Newlyweds seeking to build strong foundations

- Couples facing challenges, crisis or transitions

- Any couple desiring to enrich their relationship

How It Works

1. Pairing with a Mentor Couple: Couples are matched with a trained mentor couple whose experiences and approach align with their needs.

2. Regular Sessions: Engage in regular, confidential meetings with your trained mentor couple to discuss various aspects of your relationship.

3. Tailored Guidance: Receive personalized, bible-based strategies to strengthen your marriage.

Our Mentors

Our mentors are not counselors, but couples who have navigated the ups and downs of marriage and are trained to listen, share, and guide in a non-judgmental, supportive manner.
