From Crisis to Stability: The Power of a Fresh Start with Hebron Housing Services

Sometimes loving people looks like meeting them in the middle of a hard season and helping them take their next step forward.

That’s why we’re grateful to partner with Hebron Housing Services, specifically through their work at Juno House right here in Waukesha.

What Is Juno House?

Juno House is a transitional living program for women and women with children who are experiencing homelessness. It’s more than temporary shelter. It’s a structured, supportive environment designed to help women move toward stability and independence.

Residents receive case management, financial education, life-skills support, and the time they need to rebuild.

Why This Matters

Homelessness doesn’t usually happen overnight. It’s often the result of job loss, broken relationships, unexpected medical bills, or circumstances outside someone’s control.

And when housing becomes unstable, everything becomes unstable.

For moms especially, the weight is heavy. It’s not just about where they will sleep — it’s about their kids. Their safety. Their future.

Juno House creates space for a reset. A safe place to land. A chance to build new rhythms. An opportunity to move from crisis toward stability.

We believe every person is made in the image of God. That means every woman who walks through the doors of Juno House carries dignity and worth — regardless of her current situation.

Jesus consistently moved toward people in vulnerable places. As a church, we want to do the same.

Living Out Our Mission

Our mission is Making More & Better Followers of Jesus. Partnerships like this allow us to reflect the heart of Christ in practical ways.

Through the Big Offering Giveaway, we get to support organizations that are doing steady, behind-the-scenes work that changes lives over time.

This is what it looks like to Contribute — to use what God has given us to bless others in our own community.
